One of our projects a stunning Black Walnut & Misted River dining table was created for a breathtaking home in Whistler in collaboration with Susanne at Sensitive Design Inc. and RDC Fine Homes.
This project was already an exciting endeavor, but it recently reached new heights when the kitchen won a prestigious design award for Best Kitchen Under $250K. Being part of such an acclaimed design underscores the level of craftsmanship, artistry, and attention to detail that we pour into every piece we create.
A Table That Tells a Story
When crafting this custom dining table, we wanted to ensure it was more than just furniture it had to be a statement piece that harmonized with the kitchen’s award-winning design. Using locally sourced black walnut, we created one of our breathtaking live-edge river tables that captures the natural beauty of the wood. The misted river features a semi-translucent, epoxy resin river flowing seamlessly between the natural edges of the wood slabs, bringing a touch of modern elegance while maintaining the organic warmth of the material.
